Et comme l’étudia Lacan, avec Joyce ou avec le Hamlet de Shakespeare, le processus de création peut donner une issue neuve aux mécanismes intimes des diverses structures psychiques. Que nous apprend Shiki, créateur du haïku moderne, au début de l’ère Meiji ? Cet article vise à en suivre le processus. Atteint de tuberculose spinale, perclus de douleurs, l’écriture, pour Shiki, s’écoule comme une humeur corporelle. À partir de cette expérience vécue des mots remis en scène, des mots devenus équivalents aux bruits du monde, s’ouvre la voie du haïku shikien. Elle part de la douleur, de sa sensation à sa perception, elle tente de la capter par le travail de la lettre. Se localisant au niveau des objets voix et regard, elle y opère alors un travail de métamorphose. Cette aventure de la création fut son éthique de vie jusqu’à la mort. |

Giving objects a voice and a gaze, it undertakes a work of metamorphosis. This adventure of creation was the ethic Shiki lived by until his death. |
