| Summary, etc. | En dehors de l’analyse structurale du mythe hésiodique des races par Jean-Pierre Vernant, et de recherches inabouties de Marcel Detienne sur la « mythologie du miel », les tentatives d’appliquer aux mythes grecs la méthode d’enquête structuraliste se sont focalisées sur le traitement mythique de la procréation (opposant autochtonie et reproduction sexuée : J.-P. Vernant, B. Mezzadri), de l’opposition des sexes (bissexualité : L. Brisson) ou de la polarité entre stérilité et fertilité (l’ Adonis de M. Detienne). Si la méthode a reflué, les thématiques continuent, elles, d’inspirer la recherche contemporaine. On évoque au passage S. D’Onofrio pour un retour comparatif sur les « jardins d’Adonis », D. Karadimas et sa représentation anthropomorphe des organes sexuels, et on s’attarde brièvement sur la « cuisine » d’une gestation qui passe par le démembrement, selon A. Dimakopoulou. |

| Summary, etc. | Apart from the structural analysis of the Hesiodic myth of races by Jean-Pierre Vernant, and Marcel Detienne’s unfinished research on « honey mythology », attempts to apply the structuralist survey method to Greek myths focused on the mythical treatment of procreation (opposing autochthony and sexual reproduction: J.-P. Vernant, B. Mezzadri), of the gender oppositions (bissexuality: L. Brisson) or the polarity between sterility and fertility (M. Detienne’s Adonis). While the method has declined, the issues may still inspire contemporary research. Three authors are mentioned: S. D’Onofrio for a comparative return on the « gardens of Adonis », D. Karadimas about anthropomorphic representation of sexual organs, and we dwell briefly on the « cuisine » of gestation that goes through dismembering, according to A. Dimakopoulou. |
