| Summary, etc. | La politique de décentralisation menée en France depuis une quinzaine d’années s’est notamment traduite par l’investissement croissant des villes dans le secteur culturel. On observe cependant que certains des dispositifs institutionnellement mis en place pour créer du lien entre des publics et des œuvres produisent au contraire des résistances ou des réticences. L’article s’attachera à montrer le rôle que joue, sur ce point, la vision de l’appropriation sous-tendant de tels dispositifs. À travers un exemple (la réception d’une pièce de théâtre classique dans un centre social d’une cité de la banlieue parisienne), il s’agira de réfléchir sur l’idée que les acteurs institutionnels se font d’une appropriation réussie. On s’interrogera aussi sur les normes, registres de valeurs et critères d’évaluation mobilisés ou encore sur les espaces sociaux dans lesquels l’évaluation est menée. |

| Summary, etc. | The decentralization policy in France for fifteen years has been reflected by the increasing involvement of cities in the cultural sector. There are however some institutionally established mechanisms supposed to create the link between the public and the works that produce on the contrary resistance or reticence. The article aims to show the role, at this point, of the vision of the underlying ownership of such devices. Through an example (the reception of a classical play in a social center of a city in the Paris suburbs), we will reflect on the idea that institutional players have a successful ownership. We also wonder about the standards, values registry and evaluation criteria mobilized or about the social spaces in which the assessment is conducted. |
