| Summary, etc. | O n présente, d’abord, une description sommaire de la situation de l’éducation civique en Espagne, en remarquant les difficultés pour la consolidation de l’éducation à la citoyenneté comme matière scolaire. En tout cas, il y a en Espagne de multiples expériences concernant l’éducation à la citoyenneté et en rapport avec la participation, dans lesquelles apparaît l’infuence d’autres expériences internationales. Ensuite, on souligne l’importance de la participation comme axe central de l’éducation à la citoyenneté. À partir de ce cadre on analyse deux expériences éducatives développées à Séville : le « Parlement des Jeunes » et les « Budgets Participatifs de Séville ». Cet analyse permet de poser quelques questions de débat en rapport avec : les difficultés pour l’intégration des expériences dans le système scolaire, leur caractère de participation réelle ou de simulation, le valeur des divers savoirs y impliqués et le rôle des enseignants et des politiques dans leur développement. |

| Summary, etc. | Students’ Participation in Spanish Schools : Experiences in Seville F irst of all, a short description of the situation of citizenship education in Spain is given, focusing on its difficulties to consolidate as a school subject. There are, however, many experiences related to it in Spain and in relation to participation, in which the infuence of other international experiences can be found. Next, the importance of participation as the central axis of citizenship education is underlined. Taking this as a starting point, there follows an analysis of two education experiences carried out in Seville : “The Parliament of Young People” and “Seville’s Participative Budgets”. This analysis allows us to point out some discussion questions : the difficulties for the integration of participation experiences in the school context, their character of real participation or simulation, the value of the different kinds of knowledge they involve and the teachers and politicians’ role in their development. |
