Summary, etc. Cet article se donne pour objectif d’éclairer les conflits de normes pouvant exister au regard des spécificités contextuelles à Djibouti, symbolisées par la cohabitation du dogme religieux dans la société et de celui de la laïcité et de la science à l’école. En déconstruisant la subalternité des connaissances, l’auteur interroge les formes d’interprétation, d’adhésion, de résistances et de rejet du discours de vérité scientifique. L’analyse des données met à jour trois différents régimes de recherche d’unité de sens, à travers les stratégies de rejet ou d’accommodements opérées par les individus.

Summary, etc. This paper focuses on explaining the conflicts in norms which can emerge in Djibouti given its contextual specificities, symbolised by the cohabitation of religious dogma in society and of laicity and science in school. In deconstructing the subaltern nature of this knowledge, the author puts into question the forms of interpretation, of buy-in, of resistance and of rejection brought to bear on scientific discourse and its claims for truth. The analysis of the data shows three ways in which unity of meaning is constructed, through individual strategies of rejection or accommodation.
