| Summary, etc. | La médecine d’aujourd’hui, dite scientifique, est sans doute aux antipodes de la psychanalyse. Et pourtant, l’une et l’autre partagent toujours deux points essentiels. Le médecin tout autant que l’analyste a à faire avec la demande du patient et se trouve confronté au devoir de savoir y répondre. Et l’un comme l’autre ont affaire au corps affecté de symptômes.C’est ce que Lacan mit en relief lorsqu’en 1966 il interrogeait la possibilité de survie de la médecine, et qu’il pariait sur une prise en compte du savoir du psychanalyste.Que le discours courant actuel n’aille pas dans ce sens n’ôte rien aux effets d’une diffusion certaine de la psychanalyse depuis. |

This is what Lacan puts into relief when, in 1966, he questioned the possibility of medicine’s survival, and bet on the knowledge of the psychoanalyst being taken into account.That current discourse does not go in this direction, takes nothing away from the effects of a certain diffusion of psychoanalysis since then. |
