| Summary, etc. | L’OIT a fait de la justice sociale un objectif fondateur. La place faite à cet idéal dans la Constitution relayée par une production normative intense a permis de faire de la justice sociale un facteur d’humanisation du droit international. La protection de la dignité du travailleur et de l’être humain de manière générale par la consécration de nombreuses conventions, la mise en avant de l’individu, les mécanismes de protection et de contrôle font de la justice sociale une réalité que l’OIT construit patiemment. L’œuvre de l’OIT depuis 1919 témoigne ainsi de l’émergence de finalités providentialistes du droit international caractérisée par la recherche du bien-être social. Résistant aux assauts de la mondialisation ultralibérale, elle livre une vision de la justice sociale authentique car non subordonnée au déploiement d’un capitalisme déréglementé. |

| Summary, etc. | The ILO has made of social justice its founding purpose. The attention dedicated to this ideal in the Constitution connected by an intense standard–setting activity has enabled to make social justice a powerful humanizing element of international law. The protection of the dignity of workers and generally, human beings by the conclusion of numerous conventions, the focus turned to the individual alongside the State, the mechanisms of protection and control make of social justice a reality that ILO is patiently building up. The ILO work since 1919 points to the emergence of the providential objectives of international law characterised by the search for social well-being. Resisting assaults from ultraliberal globalisation, ILO delivers a genuine vision of social justice that is not subject to the deployment of a deregulated capitalism. |
