| Summary, etc. | Le féminin est ici étudié à partir de ses catégorisations langagières et définitionnelles. Partant de sa réalité biologique, la décontextualisation de la chose féminine confirme le sexe comme élément de catégorisation préalable à toute autre de ses saisies. Le critère sexuel ordonne l’inscription du féminin par opposition au masculin sur le plan conceptuel. Cette pré-catégorisation se projette sur le plan linguistique, au niveau duquel se figent des représentations féminines. Les dictionnaires de langue construisent ainsi un discours où le féminin versus le masculin se trouve à la fois dénoté et diversement connoté en tant que sexe. |

The sexual criterion orders the mention of female as conceptually opposed to male. This pre-categorization is influencing the linguistic level of feminine representations. Dictionaries convey a discourse where female versus male is both sexually denoted and connoted. |

| Summary, etc. | Resumen En el presente artículo se estudia lo femenino a partir de sus categorizaciones relativas al lenguaje y sus definiciones. Con base en su realidad biológica, la descontextualización de la cosa femenina confirma el sexo como elemento de categorización previo a otros enfoques. El criterio sexual organiza la inscripción de lo femenino en oposición a lo masculino desde el plano conceptual. Dicha pre-categorización se proyecta en el plano lingüístico, en cuyo nivel se fijan las representaciones femeninas. Los diccionarios construyen así un discurso en el que lo femenino versus lo masculino se halla a la vez denotado y diversamente connotado en calidad de sexo. |
