| Summary, etc. | Nous interrogerons la place de la vulgarisation dans la communication publique des institutions scientifiques, ainsi que ses rapports à un ordre positiviste de la connaissance. La mise en récit du monde social portée par la vulgarisation, en même temps qu’elle repose sur une hiérarchisation des champs sociaux vis-à-vis des instances de construction des savoirs scientifiques, implique également une hiérarchisation des disciplines entre elles. Au-delà d’un genre littéraire réputé homogène ou d’une simple catégorie de dispositifs de médiation des sciences, la vulgarisation peut apparaître comme un récit institutionnel, de sens commun, regroupant et structurant les pratiques triviales des chercheurs autant que des médiateurs, autour d’une sociodicée contribuant à légitimer une domination d’ordre politique, tant dans les espaces publics que scientifiques. |

The narrative of the social world carried by popularization is based on a hierarchy of social fields vis-à-vis the instances of construction of scientific knowledge, but also implies a hierarchy of disciplines between them. Also, beyond a literary genre reputed to be homogeneous or a simple category of science mediation devices, popularization can appear as an institutional narrative, of common sense, bringing together and structuring the trivial practices of researchers as well as mediators, as a sociodicy contributing to legitimize political domination, both in public and scientific sphere. |

La narrativa del mundo social llevada por la popularización se basa en una jerarquía de campos sociales frente a las instancias de construcción del conocimiento científico, pero también implica una jerarquía de disciplinas entre ellos. Asimismo, más allá de un género literario reputado homogéneo o una simple categoría de dispositivos de mediación de la ciencia, la divulgación puede aparecer como una narrativa institucional, de sentido común, que reúne y estructura las prácticas triviales tanto de investigadores como de mediadores, como un aporte de sociodicea para legitimar la dominación política, tanto en espacios públicos como científicos. |
