| Summary, etc. | Dans les murs de la prison pour adolescents le psychologue clinicien est confronté au réel de la clinique particulière qui suppose la dimension anthropologique aussi bien que psychopathologique. La vie psychique et sociale des adolescents détenus est organisée autour de tabous et d’interdictions particuliers qui règnent au sein de la hiérarchie collective très complexe. La question clinique et anthropologique émerge : quelles sont les fonctions psychiques de ces tabous énigmatiques ? Pourquoi leur existence est-elle une nécessité presque absolue pour les sujets adolescents incarcérés ? Pour essayer d’apporter la réponse à cette question, ou au moins pour ouvrir la discussion sur ce sujet, il est important d’un côté de discerner l’espace bien spécifique de la prison, et de l’autre de prendre en considération la crise qu’un adolescent traverse dans des conditions de rupture et de séparation violentes avec sa famille. Suite à une transgression commise, la rencontre de ces deux réalités – celle de la prison et celle de la vie psychique des adolescents – crée une situation clinique hors du commun, qui demande une écoute particulière de la part d’un psychologue clinicien, ainsi qu’un maniement du transfert dans le cadre pénitentiaire. |

| Summary, etc. | Within the walls of the juvenile prison, the clinical psychologist is confronted with the reality of the particular clinical practice that supposes the anthropological as well as psychopathological dimension. The psychic and social life of detained adolescents is organized around taboos and particular prohibitions that reign within a highly complex collective hierarchy with an overdetermined structure. The clinical and anthropological question emerges: What are the psychic functions of these enigmatic taboos, or why the almost absolute necessity of their existence for incarcerated adolescents? To try to answer this question, or at least to open up the discussion on this subject, it is important, on the one hand, to discern the very specific space of the prison, and on the other hand to take into consideration the crisis that a teenager goes through under conditions of rupture and violent separation from his family. Following a transgression committed, the meeting of these two realities, that of the prison and that of the psychic life of teenagers, creates an extraordinary clinical situation, which requires a particular kind of listening from a clinical psychologist, as well as a handling of transference within the penitentiary framework. |
