Avec leur part de réalité et leur fonction de dépôt des représentations imaginaires, l’auteur postule que ces cadres, au-delà d’une fonction de contenance, occupent aussi une « fonction miroir ». En l’absence de travail psychique et de parole accompagnatrice, les transformations atteignent cette fonction touchant directement l’identité professionnelle.
