Cet acte, rapidement amplifié dans les médias, fait l’objet de nombreux commentaires en ligne. Comment agit cette médiation numérique dans la (re)construction de l’événement ? Comment met - elle en scene la souffrance du chômueur témoigne ? En suivant les fils de 427 commentaires en ligne, l’article met l’accent sur les formes de causalité mobilisées par les internautes. À partir d’un système actantiel constitué de trois figures : la victime, le responsable et le témoin, les commentateurs de notre corpus oscillent entre identification à la victime et attribution de responsabilité suivant différents modes argumentatifs. L’immolation du chômeur de Nantes est une énigme qui amène chacun à s’interroger et à être interrogé sur ses identifications et sur les responsabilités en jeu (y compris la sienne). |

| Summary, etc. | On the 13th of February 2013, Djamel Chaar, a 42 year-old unemployed person, immolated himself in front of a Jobs Agency in Nantes. This act has been quickly accentuated by online newspapers’ readers’ comments. How did this numerical mediation act in the rebuilding of this event and of this obvious suffering? According to the 427 on-line-comments, the article puts the stress on the causality forms employed by newspapers’ readers. It is based on an actantial model formed by three figures: victim, responsible, witness—the commentators of our corpus hesitate between either to identify with the victim, either how to attribute the responsibilities, according to the different ways of argumentation. The Nantes unemployed’s self immolation is still an enigma leading everyone to question oneself and to be questioned on the identifications and the responsibilities everyone chose. |

Dicho acto, rápidamente amplificado por los medios, es objeto de numerosos comentarios en línea. ¿Cuál es el papel de esta mediación digital en la (re)construcción del acontecimiento y del sufrimiento que manifiesta? A través de 427 comentarios en línea, este artículo estudia las formas de causalidad expuestas por los internautas. Con base en un sistema actancial de tres figuras (la víctima, el responsable y el testigo), los comentaristas del corpus tienden a identificarse con la víctima y a atribuir responsabilidades con diversos modos argumentativos. La inmolación del desempleado de Nantes es un enigma que despierta interrogantes en cada uno de ellos, ya sea al cuestionar sus identificaciones o incluso las propias responsabilidades al respecto. |
