520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |

Summary, etc. | Religion was the first organization mode of the human societies. It legitimized the political power. The history of religions has evolved from animism to polytheism, then to monotheism, and finally to a form of practical atheism, relayed by a certain idealization of Science. Does this mean that the meaning of the sacred will disappear? No, because the religious fact is based on the beliefs of childhood, which will subsist in other forms, thanks to psychoanalysis in particular. The psychoanalysis reveals to everyone what was his private religion, and also a sense of the sacred cut off from his community ties, so often alienating. |
