| Summary, etc. | RésuméC'est la question d'une spécificité de la cruauté au féminin qui fut débattue lors de la journée scientifique du 15 mars 2003 organisée par l'Université Paris 7 – Denis Diderot. Cinq conférencières, J. Kristeva, S. de Mijolla-Mellor, M. Bompard-Porte, B. Galtier et K. Brutin, ont inscrit leur réflexion dans la perspective interdisciplinaire des littératures francophone et anglophone et de la psychanalyse, pour penser l'articulation de la cruauté et du féminin par-delà la pulsion de cruauté qu'un Freud associait à la sexualité masculine. Inadéquation à soi de la sexualité féminine, cruor fantasmatique et pulsion de recherche, métapsychologie de la peur et de l'épouvante, violence de figures féminines ou cruauté dissécatoire post-mortem sont autant de thèmes ici développés. |

| Summary, etc. | The issue of a specic female cruelty was discussed over during the colloquium organised by the University Paris 7 – Denis Diderot on the 15th of March 2003. Within the interdisciplinary perspective of French and English language literature together with psychoanalysis, five speakers, J. Kristeva, S. de Mijolla-Mellor, M. Bompard-Porte, B. Galtier and K. Brutin, tackled the link between cruelty and feminity beyond the Freudian male cruelty drive. Selfmissed female sexuality, fantasy cruor and investigation drive, metapsychology of fear and fright, violent female figures and post-mortem dissection cruelty are some of the themes which were dealt with. |
