Peut-elle avoir une fonction de réparation narcissique ? Peut-elle être un temps d’élaboration du traumatisme de l’infertilité et du recours au don d’ovocytes ? Si oui, dans quelle mesure et dans quelles conditions ? Les pistes de réflexion que nous proposons s’appuient sur des rencontres cliniques recueillies au sein d’une recherche menée auprès de couples qui ont eu recours à un don d’ovocytes. |

| Summary, etc. | A Few Reflections on the Psychic Stakes at Play in Pregnancy after Oocyte Donation. This article explores the role of pregnancy as a psychic and bodily experience in women suffering from infertility and who have become pregnant through oocyte donation. Does the ensuing pregnancy repair their narcissistic wounds ? Is pregnancy a period in which the trauma of infertility and the need for oocyte donation may be elaborated on and worked through ? If this is indeed the case, what conditions are necessary for this process to take place and how far may it be taken ? The ideas put forward here are rooted in clinical cases as part of a research programme with couples having used oocyte donations. |
