Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | We are living for longer than we have ever lived in human history, but our lives remain too short, never making it past 120 years. To live in good health for far longer, or even one day without aging, to become “amortal”, there must be radical scientific progress. In its strictest sense, transhumanism aims to improve humans. In a broader sense, transhumanism approaches the questions related to all of the impacts of technological progress on men, women and society. Is the search for amortality a form of transhumanism? Yes, as its goal is to go beyond our biological limits. No, because the goal is not to enable us to be different, but rather to be more human for longer. |
