| Summary, etc. | Cet article vise à montrer en quoi opter pour une clinique orientée par la psychanalyse ne va pas sans un choix éthique. L’éthique venant là où aucun Autre ne répond, le désir de l’analyste se place ici comme opérateur d’une clinique où le savoir et l’acte sont sans cesse interrogés dans une démarche d’accueil de l’indécidable. Le paradigme de la singularité et la construction psychanalytique du cas sont développées afin de montrer que « faire cas » de la rencontre clinique consiste à s’intéresser aux effets de son intervention, à permettre au sujet de tirer les conséquences de ce qu’il y rencontre comme réel, à se faire passeur de ce que l’on y apprend. Le cas est ainsi replacé dans sa fonction de transmission. |

| Summary, etc. | This article seeks to show the extent to which choosing a clinical approach oriented by psychoanalysis is indissociable from ethical choice. Since ethics come into play at the place where there is no Other to reply, the desire of the psychoanalyst serves as the operative principle of a clinical approach in which knowledge and act are constantly questioned, with the aim of remaining open to the undecidable. The authors explore the paradigm of singularity and the psychoanalytic construction of the case history in order to show how “making a case” of the clinical encounter consists in being interested in the effects of one’s own intervention ; in allowing the analysand as subject to consider the implications of those aspects of the Real that emerge in the analytic context ; in becoming someone who can pass along to others what the analytic experiences teaches. In this way, the case history is characterized in terms of its function as transmission. |
