| Summary, etc. | In March 2024, the French Ministry of Éducation’s Conseil supérieur des programmes (Higher Council for Curricula) published a proposal for sex education starting from nursery school through to the end of secondary school. This is a sensitive and controversial subject, because as well as dealing with issues relating to sexuality, it also addresses the matter of gender, the source of much heated debate. So, having presented the current context for this thorny issue, the article returned to the question of the definition of gender before focussing on a series of excerpts from a report on the teaching of gender norms from a very early age in Sweden. Finally, in an attempt to reach a conclusion, the article returns to the subject of gender transmission. |

| Summary, etc. | En mars 2024, le Conseil supérieur des programmes du ministère de l’Éducation nationale a publié un projet d’éducation à la sexualité de la maternelle à la terminale. Il s’agit d’un sujet délicat et polémique, car en plus de traiter des questions liées à la sexualité, il aborde celle concernant le genre. Or, dès qu’il est question de genre, les débats s’enveniment. Ainsi, après une présentation du contexte actuel au sein duquel ce débat prend place, l’article reviendra sur la question de la définition du genre. Puis il s’intéressera à quelques extraits d’un reportage sur la pédagogie de questionnement des normes de genre appliquée dès le plus jeune âge en Suède. Enfin, pour tenter d’apporter une conclusion, l’article reviendra sur le sujet de la transmission du genre. |
