Mais il faut encore approuver l’autre explicitement comme un semblable : des voies à cet égard seront explorées. L’expérience de la pandémie et du semi-confinement permet d’approfondir ces pistes.Le principal obstacle réside dans les méta-valeurs dominantes dans notre société, elle-même tributaires de certains de nos deuils. Ces observations permettent de préciser les conditions d’un engagement résolu en faveur d’un humanisme du soin. |

| Summary, etc. | Humanism in healthcare is illusory without first recognizing similarities shared by all human beings, especially therapists and family members with whom we work, as well as colleagues within or external to an institution. But we still need to approve the “Other” explicitly as a fellow human being: ways to do this will be explored in this article. The experience of the pandemic and the semi-confinement have allowed us to explore these issues in more detail. The main obstacle to this approach lies in the dominant meta-values in our society, which are in turn dependent on the processes of grief and loss. These observations allow us to specify the conditions for a resolute commitment to a humanism in healthcare. |

| Summary, etc. | Un humanismo del cuidado es ilusorio en ausencia de un reconocimiento anterior de las similitudes que comparten todos los seres humanos, tales como terapeutas y miembros de las familias con las cuales trabajamos, o colegas en una institución. Pero hay aún que aprobar explícitamente el otro como un ser similar a sí mismo: pistas hacia este objetivo serán exploradas. La experiencia de la pandemia y del semi-confinamiento permite profundizar estas vías. El mayor obstáculo reside en las meta-valores dominantes en nuestra sociedad, ella misma tributaria de algunos de nuestros duelos. Estas observaciones permiten especificar las condiciones de un verdadero compromiso a favor de un humanismo del cuidado. |
