| Summary, etc. | La notion de champ a fait l’objet d’un travail de formalisation implicite depuis que Pierre Bourdieu a développé, dans les années 1960 et 1970, une approche relationnelle de l’espace social. Celle-ci l’a conduit à promouvoir une conception spatialisée du social, qui s’est épanouie avec le recours à l’analyse géométrique des données (AGD) dans l’analyse empirique des champs. L’AGD permet de mettre en œuvre un programme de recherche systématique d’étude des champs qui part de la description et se poursuit jusqu’à une démarche explicative. |
