Ces Expositions sont de grands projets menés sous la tutelle de l’État français qui en assure le financement avec la Ville de Paris. S’imposent de fait les principes des finances publiques qui constituent un cadre pour le contrôle de la gestion de ces projets. Le cas des Expositions universelles permet de revenir sur le « degré zéro » (Navarre, 1993) du contrôle de gestion de projet, période au cours de laquelle des outils sont développés. |

| Summary, etc. | Project management control during the nineteeth century : the case of the Parisian Great Exhibitions (1855/1900)Five Great Exhibitions took place in France between 1855 and 1900, organized by both the French government and the Ville de Paris. To manage such projets, control principles were to be set up and a public financing made public finance principles mandatory. Parisian great exhibitions give the opportunity to study a case of project management in the late 19th century and to investigate the “stage zero” (Navarre, 1993) of the control of management project. |
