Summary, etc. | Plus qu’une place privilégiée dans le débat intel-lectuel, ce thème a acquis de nouvelles dimensions et des définitions diversifiées dans le champ éducatif brésilien, opposant savoir érudit et savoir scolaire, savoir et pouvoir, savoir et compétence. Devant le caractère inter-disciplinaire de ce champ de recherche, nous avons privilégié les approches de la sociologie de l’éducation, en ayant par référence la sociologie du curriculum telle qu’elle a été conçue en Grande-Bretagne et de la sociologie française des savoirs scolaires, grâces à ses influences sur la recherche éducative brésilienne. Mais nous nous sommes consacrées effectivement sur des travaux produits au Brésil, qui mettent en relief la fécondité de ce champ intellectuel et surtout les tendances qui orientent le débat éducatif actuel autour des savoirs scolaires. |

Summary, etc. | The place of school knowledge in brazilian sociology of education In addition to occupying a special place in the intellectual debate, “school knowledge” has acquiresd new dimensions and diversified definitions, contrasting “erudite knowledge” and “school knowledge”, knowledge and power, knowledge and competency. Given the interdisciplinary character of this field of study, we emphasize the approaches proposed by the sociology of education. We use as a reference the so-called sociology of the curriculum, developed in Great Britain and the French socio-logy of school knowledge, because of its influence on Brazilian educational research. Yet we concentrate on the analysis conducted in Brazil, emphasizing not only the fertility of this intellectual field, but above all the trends that steer the debate about school knowledge. |
