Il ne s'agit plus seulement d'orienter un dossier dans le sens du classement ou de la poursuite mais de choisir la voie procédurale la plus adaptée. Ne faudrait-il pas, s'interroge l'auteur, formaliser davantage ces schémas devenus essentiels dans l'exercice des politiques pénales afin de les rendre plus lisibles et d'éviter la suspicion des décisions prises dans ce cadre ? |

| Summary, etc. | The strategic frameworks implemented by public prosecutors reflect a change in the way we look at the chances of successful prosecution. This is no longer a question of deciding whether to drop or pursue a case, but rather of selecting the procedural option which is best suited to the circumstances. Would it not be wise, the author asks, to make these frameworks more official ? Such frameworks have become essential factors in the execution of penal policy, and by further formalising them we could make them easier to understand and dispel any lingering mistrust about decisions taken in this context. |
