Celles-ci ont mis en lumière des facteurs cognitifs, le nombre d'informations dont les juges disposent sur les justiciables comme sur les peines, les facteurs tenant à l'audience et à la manière dont les justiciables y apparaissent ainsi que le rôle qu'y jouent d'autres praticiens. La recherche française s'est penchée sur des facteurs institutionnels plus larges comme les choix opérés en juridiction en faveur de telles ou telles procédures. |

French research has looked at broader institutional factors such as the choices made in court in favour of one procedure or another. |
