| Summary, etc. | Judicial responses to domestic violence: ethnographic perspectivesA report entitled Pratiques et impacts des réponses judiciaires aux violences conjugales. Regards sur quelques initiatives locales en France (Practices and Impact of Judicial Responses to Domestic Violence. Focus on Several Local Initiatives in France) was produced following a call for projects issued by the Institute for Studies and Research on Law and Justice (IERDJ) in 2020. This report provides an ethnographic perspective on judicial initiatives and schemes addressing domestic violence in four jurisdictions in mainland France between 2021 and 2022. This article seeks to relate some of our findings to our manner of working and the specificities of an anthropological and feminist approach. The author sheds light on the tensions at the heart of the judiciary's specialised responses to domestic violence, highlighting the challenges of adapting practices to the specificities of this type of litigation, i.e. male violence against women within couples, while taking account of the victims' varied backgrounds and the specific needs of each case. |

| Summary, etc. | Le rapport Pratiques et impacts des réponses judiciaires aux violences conjugales. Regards sur quelques initiatives locales en France est issu d'un appel à projets lancé en 2020 par l'Institut des études et de la recherche sur le droit et la justice. Ce rapport propose un regard ethnographique sur des initiatives et dispositifs judiciaires consacrés aux violences conjugales dans quatre ressorts en France métropolitaine entre 2021 et 2022. Cet article s'attachera à mettre en relation une partie de nos résultats avec la manière dont nous avons travaillé et les spécificités d'une démarche anthropologique et féministe. L'autrice met en lumière les tensions au cœur de la spécialisation de la justice en matière de violences conjugales, en soulignant les défis d'adapter les pratiques pour répondre aux spécificités de ce contentieux, c'est-à-dire des violences masculines faites aux femmes au sein du couple, avec des parcours de victimes variés et des besoins spécifiques propres à chaque cas. |
