Progressivement traduits en exigence de rapidité et d’efficacité dans les structures de soin, ils aboutissent à la création de dispositifs visant à faire bien en faisant vite. À partir d’une expérience au sein d’un « point écoute », le propos explore comment les cliniciens parviennent, en dépit de directives institutionnelles contraires à la logique du soin, à aménager un espace-temps qui permette aux patients de trouver une voie d’expression de leurs difficultés, tenant compte de la temporalité aléatoire des processus psychiques. |

| Summary, etc. | For several decades, speed and progress have been parts of an idealistic view of society. They were gradually given major importance in care structures as both rapidity and efficiency were required from those in charge, ending up in the creation of various systems aiming at working both fast and well. Starting from an experience within a “point écoute” – a daycare structure aiming at just taking in and advising patients –, the purpose of this article is to show how clinicians manage, despite institutional directives that don’t make sense when it comes to caring for people, to devote enough time and attention to patients who need to express their difficulties, taking into account the varying temporality of psychic processes. |
