Summary, etc. La question de l’accueil est fondamentale dans le travail clinique institutionnel.Tout accueil est aliénant si on considère la personne accueillie uniquement comme un objet de soins aussi bons soient-ils car cet accueil augmente la dépendance. Cet accueil est subjectivant lorsqu’il privilégie une rencontre entre sujets et diminue ainsi l’aliénation tant psychologique que sociale. Les effets de cet accueil porteront nécessairement sur les deux protagonistes sans exception : l’accueillant et l’accueilli.C’est dans l’interrogation – sans cesse renouvelée de sa place comme sujet auprès d’autres sujets, au sein de l’équipe ou dans la relation avec les accueillis – que se construit la fonction soignante en institution. Une façon de mettre en jeu la question triviale mais centrale : « Qu’est-ce que je fous là ?… »

Summary, etc. The question of reception and care is a key issue in institutional clinical work.Any reception becomes alienating if the welcomed person is considered only as an “object of care” (however good the care may be), because this kind of reception increases dependence. Reception becomes subjectifying when it enables a true encounter between subjects and thus diminishes both psychological and social alienation. The reception process will necessarily concern and impact both protagonists: the person cared for and the carer.It is precisely in the constantly renewed questioning of one’s place as a subject among other subjects – within the educational team or formed relationships –that the institutional care function is constructed. A way of putting into play the trivial but central question: “What am I doing here?”
