| Summary, etc. | L’adolescence dans ses caractéristiques de recherche d’indépendance et d’accroissement de l’autonomie semble entrer en opposition avec les limites et le cadre qui peuvent être imposés par les institutions. Comment comprendre ce lien en apparence contradictoire ? Nous proposons de réfléchir à cette relation, en nous attachant plus particulièrement à ce qui peut se jouer pour les adolescents qui grandissent en maison d’enfants à caractère social ( mecs). Nous tenterons d’éclairer le positionnement de ces adolescents évoluant entre deux milieux de vie différents, à savoir l’institution et leur famille. Nous chercherons également à saisir le fonctionnement des professionnels vis-à-vis des adolescents et de leur famille, dans ce contexte spécifique. Pour illustrer notre propos, nous avons choisi d’évoquer la situation de Clara, une jeune fille en pleine construction identitaire, essayant de trouver un équilibre entre ses repères familiaux, et les normes et les codes adoptés au sein de la mecs. |

| Summary, etc. | Adolescence in its characteristics of search for independence and increase of autonomy seems to enter in opposition with the limits and the framework that can be imposed by the institutions. How can we understand this seemingly contradictory relationship? We propose to reflect on this relationship, focusing in particular on what can happen to adolescents who grow up in a foster care institution ( mecs). Evolving between two different living environments, namely the institution and their family, we will attempt to shed light on the positioning of these adolescents. We will also try to understand how professionals function in relation with adolescents and their families in this specific context. To illustrate our point, we have chosen to evoke the situation of Clara, a young teenage girl in the process of constructing her identity, trying to find a balance between her family reference points and the norms and codes adopted within the mecs. |
