| Summary, etc. | Dans l’analyse économique marxiste, quel statut épistémologique peut-on donner à la théorie du fétichisme de la marchandise ? En nous situant sur le plan de l’ontologie sociale, nous défendons l’idée que répondre à cette question revient toujours à distinguer deux interprétations de Marx : (1) l’interprétation essentialiste (le fétichisme est un phénomène de surface et économiquement secondaire) et (2) l’interprétation constructiviste (le fétichisme est fondamental s’agissant de rendre compte du mode d’être marchand). Cette distinction permet d’éclairer aussi ce qu’engage « positivement » la notion de critique chez Marx, au sens où il développe une « critique de l’économie politique ». |

| Summary, etc. | In the Marxist economic analysis, what epistemological status can we give to the theory of commodity fetishism ? From a social ontology point of view, we argue that to answer this question we have to distinguish two interpretations : (1) The essentialist interpretation (the fetishism is a phenomenon of surface and secondary from an economical point of view) and (2) The constructivist interpretation (the fetishism is fundamental to understand the commodity system from an ontological point of view). This distinction allows to light “in a positive way” the Marxian notion of critique, in the sense where he develops a “Critique of the political economy”. JEL classification : B14, B40, B51 |
