| Summary, etc. | À partir de vingt années d’expérience dans ce champ clinique, l’auteur met au travail la question de l’intime et des intimités en jeu lors de la période périnatale. En effet, cette clinique convoque le plus intime : l’embryon qui se développe comme fœtus et bébé, pour advenir en tant que sujet, interroge ses parents dans ce qu’ils vont devenir, mais aussi les soignants de l’institution qui partageront cette période émotionnelle très intense. Ainsi, accepter de donner la vie, et l’accompagner, revient à consentir à l’existence d’une intime part trouble, voire sombre, de la maternité. Aussi, les soignants, dans l’intimité du transfert, sont amenés à accompagner les « crises » périnatales, au même titre que l’on accompagne l’adolescence, ou le vieillissement, sans conclure trop rapidement sur le plan psychopathologique mais bien plutôt dans une démarche de prévention et d’accueil du plus intime. |

| Summary, etc. | Based upon twenty years of experience in the perinatal field, the author questions the notion of intimacy during the perinatal period. Indeed, this clinic calls for the most intimate: the embryo develops as a fetus and baby, and becomes a subject. This questions the parents in what they will become, but also the caregivers of the institution who will share this very intense emotional period. Thus, accepting to give life and accompanying it, is tantamount to consenting to the existence of an intimate, murky, even dark part of motherhood. Also, the carers, in the intimacy of the transferential relationship, are brought to accompany the perinatal “crises”, just as the teenage years, or the aging, without concluding too quickly on the psychopathological level but rather in an approach of prevention and reception of the most intimate. |
