Summary, etc. | For several decades now, the managerial model, supported by a managerial discourse nourished by euphemisms, slogans, and a priori non-subversive signifiers such as benevolence or trust, has been making headway in the various spheres of life; the school system is no exception. The aim of this article is to help us to understand this managerial newspeak and to illustrate some of its subjective effects based on the analysis of a clinical interview conducted with Fanny, who is retraining to become a school teacher after having been a “communications officer.” |

Summary, etc. | Depuis quelques décennies, le modèle gestionnaire, porté par un discours managérial nourri d’euphémismes, de slogans et de signifiants a priori non subversifs – comme bienveillance ou confiance –, progresse dans les différentes sphères sociales ; l’institution École n’y échappe pas. Cet article vise à donner quelques éléments d’appréhension de cette novlangue managériale et à illustrer certains de ses effets subjectifs à partir de l’analyse d’un entretien clinique à visée de recherche mené auprès de Fanny, en reconversion pour devenir professeure des écoles après avoir été « chargée de communication ». |
