Summary, etc. Dans cet article, nous tentons d’expliciter les conséquences de l’application, dans le domaine de l’éducation, des principes d’une éthique du soin tels qu’ils sont développés dans la pensée du psychanalyste Sándor Ferenczi. En effet, on retrouve tout au long de son œuvre des réflexions sur l’éducation. Cependant, nous démontrerons que les principes d’hospitalité, d’empathie et de santé du soigneur, en particulier après le « tournant de 1928 » qu’il a opéré dans le champ de la psychanalyse, sont devenus des repères non seulement pour la pratique clinique, mais également pour aiguiller l’éthique des pratiques éducatives, en évitant le potentiel traumatique présent dans tout acte qui vise à transmettre un savoir.

Summary, etc. In this article, we attempt to explain the consequences of applying, in the field of education, the principles of an ethic of care as developed in the work of the psychoanalyst Sándor Ferenczi. Indeed, reflections on education can be found throughout his work. However, as we shall demonstrate, the principles of hospitality, empathy, and the health of the carer, particularly after the “1928 turning point” he brought about in the field of psychoanalysis, have become benchmarks not only for clinical practice, but also for guiding the ethics of educational practice, by avoiding the traumatic potential present in every act aimed at transmitting knowledge.

Summary, etc. Pretendemos, nesse artigo, explicitar as consequências da aplicação, para o campo da educação, dos princípios para uma ética do cuidado destacados no pensamento do psicanalista Sándor Ferenczi. Encontramos reflexões sobre a educação ao longo de toda a sua obra; demonstraremos, porém, que sobretudo a partir da “virada de 1928” promovida por Ferenczi no campo psicanalítico, os princípios da hospitalidade, da empatia e da saúde do cuidador tornam-se as balizas não apenas para a prática clínica, mas também para nortear a ética das práticas educacionais, evitando o potencial traumático presente em todo ato que almeja a transmissão de um saber.
