Cette conception de la clinique n’est pas capable de discriminer entre vrais et faux positifs, tout comme elle écarte la question du sens. De ce fait, le diagnostic de dépression est utilisé, tant par les patients que par les médecins dans un but psychothérapique favorisant le refoulement. Le mécanisme à l’œuvre ici est l’ identification hystérique. |
