| Summary, etc. | RésuméLes auteurs tentent de dégager des liens entre deux situations de souffrance très différentes qui surviennent au moment de l’adolescence, tout en interrogeant les liens entre psyché et soma à cette période de la vie. Deux adolescentes, l’une atteinte d’un cancer et subissant soudainement une amputation de la jambe et l’autre menacée de l’effondrement d’une mère alcoolique et de l’intrusion d’un père pervers, se défendent chacune à leur façon d’une passivité ressentie comme dangereuse. L’une et l’autre côtoient de près la mort, la première par la désorganisation somatique progressive, la deuxième par des gestes suicidaires répétés. Établir des liens conceptuels entre des contextes cliniques si différents, à première vue radicalement étrangers l’un à l’autre mais pouvant s’éclairer mutuellement, tel est le but des auteurs qui mettront en exergue les relations possibles entre l’adolescence et la mort. |

| Summary, etc. | Adolescence and deathThe authors try to relieve the links between two different situations of suffering during the period of adolescence, interrogating the links between psyche and soma during this period. Two teenagers defend themselves against a passivity felt like dangerous : the first being affected by cancer and enduring suddenly an amputation of her leg, the other threatened by alcoholic mother’s collapse and the perverted father’s intrusion. Both of them flirt with death, the first by somatic disorders, the second by repeated suicidal gestures. The authors’ goals are to establish conceptual links between two very different clinical contexts, at first sight radically opposed but which may get each other cleared, and to bring out the possible relations between adolescence and death. |
