| Summary, etc. | Les rapports entre la ségrégation et le diagnostic psychiatrique ont évolué au cours du temps. De ségrégatif raciste et colonialiste, le diagnostic psychiatrique est devenu pharmaco induit et,sous l’influence du réductionnisme, il s’est détaché des conceptions cliniques classiques dans un mouvement de naturalisation de la maladie mentale. Puis le diagnostic psychiatrique a été revendiqué par les uns comme ouverture de droits, légitimé par les autres comme droit à la différence et à l’égalité citoyenne, enfin rejeté par les antipsychiatries comme stigmatisant. Les facteurs transdiagnostiques pourraient servir à évaluer la discrimination. Mais la maladie mentale n’est toujours pas une maladie comme les autres et la disparition de la psychiatrie n’est pas la solution à la discrimination dont souffrent les malades mentaux. |
