| Summary, etc. | Notre article vise à comprendre dans quelle mesure le territoire filmique peut devenir un dispositif de promotion régionale et à déterminer le rôle du réalisateur et de la région dans celui-ci. Nous analysons le degré d’acceptabilité du placement territorial pour les réalisateurs français, leurs discours qui révèlent un désir de mettre en lumière le territoire et les actions mises en œuvre par les régions afin de valoriser leur participation dans le monde du cinéma. Il s’agit in fine de démontrer qu’il existe une réelle mise en tension entre création cinématographique, valorisation discursive et stratégie promotionnelle. |

| Summary, etc. | Our article aims to understand to what extent the film territory can become a regional promotion device and to determine the role of the director and of the region in it. We analyze the degree of acceptability of the territorial placement for French directors, their speeches which reveal a desire to highlight the territory and the actions implemented by the regions in order to enhance their participation in the world of cinema. Ultimately, it is a matter of demonstrating that there is a real tension between cinematographic creation, discursive promotion and promotional strategy. |
