| Summary, etc. | Résumé L’invention de la schizophrénie, bien qu’influencée par la psychanalyse, a eu comme effet paradoxal de vider de son essence la conception psychanalytique des psychoses. La schizophrénie a fini par en recouvrir tout le champ, mais au détriment de sa causalité libidinale et de la dimension paranoïaque. Penser la schizophrénie aujourd’hui comporte donc de revenir à ces deux versants distincts de la psychose, pour montrer que la causalité libidinale, d’abord mise à jour par Freud dans le registre de la paranoïa, concerne la schizophrénie également. La clinique de la schizophrénie acquiert alors plus de cohérence et de spécificité, par rapport aux troubles d’origine organique. Lorsqu’elle est abordée sous l’angle du rapport du corps et de la libido, plutôt que comme un ensemble de troubles essentiellement cognitifs, elle peut orienter une pratique qui peut s’inspirer des solutions tentées par le sujet lui-même en vue d’obtenir un nouage du corps et de la libido moins ravageant et peut-être plus créatif. |

| Summary, etc. | Though influenced by psychoanalysis, the invention of schizophrenia has had the paradoxical effect of divesting of its very essence the psychoanalytical conception of psychosis. Schizophrenia has ended up covering the entire field, at the expense of both its libidinal causality and the paranoiac dimension. Thinking schizophrenia today therefore involves a return to those two separate aspects of psychosis, with a view to showing that libidinal causality, initially brought to light by Freud in the realm of paranoia, concerns schizophrenia as well. This affords the clinical approach to schizophrenia a greater coherence and specificity, distinct from organically generated disorders. When it is tackled from the vantage point of the relationship between body and libido rather than as an assortment of essentially cognitive disorders it is able to induce a practice that can take its inspiration from the solutions sought by the subject him/herself ; aiming to achieve a less devastating and perhaps more creative knotting of the body with the libido. |
