| Summary, etc. | Partant d’un contexte de crise socio-économique majeure, cet article propose d’examiner l’articulation de la souffrance individuelle et de la souffrance sociale en prenant en considération un nombre de paramètres psychiques spécifiques aux situations de précarité sociale extrême. Il se penche notamment sur la place centrale du traumatisme psychique ainsi que sur la fonction des défenses paradoxales d’auto-exclusion et examine leurs effets subjectifs et identitaires. Parallèlement, les auteurs abordent la question de la qualité de l’environnement primaire et des particularités de la fonction paternelle en rapport avec la problématique de l’exclusion sociale et de l’errance. Finalement, ils tentent d’illustrer et d’approfondir ces différents éléments à travers l’étude du récit d’un homme se trouvant confronté à une situation de précarité extrême. |

| Summary, etc. | Having its roots in a context of major socioeconomic crisis, this work proposes to examine the articulation between individual and social suffering by taking into account a number of psychic parameters specific to situations of extreme social precariousness. It considers, in particular, the central place of psychic trauma as well as the function of paradoxical auto-exclusion defenses, and examines their effects on subjectivity and identity. The authors approach, in parallel, the issue of the quality of the primary environment and the particularities of the paternal function with regard to the problem of social exclusion and homelessness. Finally, they try to illustrate and investigate further the above mentioned elements through the study of the narrative of a man facing a situation of extreme precariousness. |
