| Summary, etc. | Dans cet article l’auteur envisage le retard de la mue de la voix chez le garçon comme un trouble psychogène en rapport avec le caractère biphasé de la sexualité humaine. Ce trouble traduit le sentiment de honte lié aux transformations pubertaires qui laisse entendre, pour les autres, le secret travail de la sexualité génitale qui est en train de s’opérer. Le retard de la mue de la voix traduit une sorte de latence exagérément longue, une difficulté à quitter l’enfance et ses objets (notamment parentaux), à faire le deuil de l’investissement incestueux de l’objet maternel. Quelques vignettes cliniques illustrent ce propos. |

| Summary, etc. | In this article the author studies late voice-breaking in boys as a psycho-genous disorder linked with the biphased nature of human sexuality. This disorder is the expression of a feeling of shame due to the transformations occurring at puberty, which allows others to hear the secret work of genital sexuality which is taking place. Lateness in voice-breaking is evidence of a kind of excessively long latency period, difficulty in leaving behind childhood and its objects (parental objects in particular), in mourning the incestuous cathexis of the maternal object. A few clinical portraits illustrate the study. |
