| Summary, etc. | Résumé Si certains secrets sont imposés ou prescrits par un adulte à un enfant dans les cas d’abus sexuels par exemple, d’autres s’imposent d’eux-mêmes lorsque la personne, redoutant le regard des autres, craint que la vérité sur son propre sort soit connue de tous. Générateurs de honte, leur révélation sera alors vécue comme une humiliation. Nous proposons d’aborder ce rapport entre secret et humiliation dans cet article, ainsi que certains points auxquels le thérapeute sera attentif pour que le dévoilement du secret ne représente plus une menace mais, au contraire, une étape constructive entre celui qui en est porteur et « le reste du monde ». |

| Summary, etc. | If some secrets are imposed or prescribed by an adult to a child in sexual abuse’s cases, others are imposed itself when a person, dreading others looks, fears that everybody could know the truth on his own life. Generating shame, their disclosures will be experienced as a humiliation. The author proposes to approach this link between secret and humiliation, and other aspects to which the therapist has to pay attention to avoid that secret’s revelation becomes a threat but on the contrary, to help it to represent a constructive step for the relation between the secret owner and « the rest of the world ». |
