Summary, etc. RésuméLe programme de formation interactive des enseignants par la radio (FIER) est un programme de formation à distance par voie de radio du Ministère de l’éducation nationale du Mali qui bénéficie du soutien financier de l’USAID et de l’accompagnement scientifique et technique de l’ONG américaine EDC. Dans un contexte de déprofessionnalisation de l’enseignement, FIER vise à améliorer les pratiques pédagogiques et professionnelles des enseignants à travers l’introduction de la radio et des nouvelles technologies dans le processus de formation continue et initiale. L’évaluation du dispositif de formation par voie de radio présentée ici, trois ans après sa mise en œuvre (2005), induit des changements positifs dans les démarches pédagogiques des enseignants. Ces changements manqueront-ils d’avoir un impact sur l’accès et la qualité de l’éducation au Mali ?

Summary, etc. The Interactive Training of trainers by Radio Progam is a distance training program by the means of radio of the National Ministry of Education through the funding of USAID and the close support from American NGO EDC. In the framework of the de-professionalisation of education, this program aims to improve both the professional and pedagogic practices of trainers and staff through the introduction of radio along with new technologies in the process of initial and in-service training. The evaluation of the training device by means of radio presented here, i.e. three years after its implementation in 2005, implies that the program has met positive changes in the pedagogic procedures of teachers who have participated in the program. Will this these changes impact the access and the quality of education in Mali?
