| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa mise sous forme numérique des documents renouvelle les rapports de l’annotation et de l’indexation, grâce aux traitements qu’elle rend possibles. Nous proposons un cadre unifié (appelé index) dans lequel ces deux opérations se complètent, permettant un jeu d’allers-retours entre des documents et une représentation sémantique. Ce cadre présente une bonne couverture théorique et rend compte d’activités diverses. Nous montrons son efficacité pratique à partir d’une expérience en cours sur l’indexation des textes réglementaires, dont nous expliquons la problématique et pour laquelle nous proposons une structure d’index originale. Cet exemple illustre en outre comment l’index peut devenir un espace de navigation entre le texte et le modèle sémantique, espace qui permet de nouveaux usages du document numérique. |

| Summary, etc. | The emergence of digital documents renews the relation between annotation and indexing, thanks to the processing it enables. We propose a unified framework (so called index) in which these two operations complement each other and support the interplay of bidirectional moves between documents and a semantic representation. This framework shows a good theoretical coverage and accounts for different activities. Its practical efficiency is illustrated on an ongoing experiment, which aims at indexing texts describing policies, which issue is explained and for which we present an original index structure. This example illustrates how that structure can be turned into a navigating space connecting a text and a semantic model, and how, on this ground, new functionalities can be built which enlarge the uses of digital documents. |
