| Summary, etc. | La pandémie de Covid-19 a entraîné une augmentation considérable du nombre de patients hospitalisés en soins critiques. Même si des mesures ont rapidement été mises en œuvre pour tenter d’y répondre, le système hospitalier français a été mis à rude épreuve, avec des problèmes éthiques spécifiques, en particulier celui de la priorisation des soins en raison du manque de ressources humaines et matérielles. Dans ces situations, le risque est réel pour les soignants, soumis à des conflits de valeurs, mais également pour les patients, soumis au risque de décisions arbitraires. Cet article propose de revenir sur les enjeux éthiques de cette pandémie et d’analyser la démarche éthique proposée par la littérature pour y répondre. |

| Summary, etc. | The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant increase in the number of critical care hospitalized patients. Although measures were quickly implemented in an attempt to address them, the French hospital system has been undermined, with specific ethical challenges, in particular that of prioritizing care due to lack of human and material resources. In these situations, there is a real risk for health care practitioners, who are exposed conflicts of values, but also for patients, who are subject to the risk of arbitrary decisions. This article proposes to focus on the ethical issues specific to this pandemic and to analyze the ethical approach proposed in the literature to respond to them. |
