L’historien et le philosophe puisent tous deux dans le marxisme pour penser la question sur la longue durée et jusqu’à nos jours, tout en divergeant sur plusieurs points. Il ressort de cette confrontation une nécessaire prise en compte non fétichiste des « classiques du marxisme », insuffisants pour penser la totalité de la complexité de la persistance de la « nation », mais indispensables malgré tout pour définir une visée émancipatrice. |

| Summary, etc. | In this interview, two opposing points of view are put forward concerning a cardinal question for Marx and Marxist traditions: the question of nation and internationalism. The historian and the philosopher both draw on Marxism to consider the question over the long term and right up to the present day, while diverging on a number of points. What emerges from this confrontation is the need to take into account, without fetishizing, the “classics of Marxism,” which are insufficient to consider the full complexity of the persistence of the “nation,” but which are nonetheless indispensable for defining an emancipatory aim. |
