520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The feature of Wodaabe life best known and spread in our societies is their traditional dancing. Tourists coming into Niger hence ask to see this kind of show that fascinates them in just the form the Wodaabe lay on for them. Their dances are now an element in different negotiation frameworks, not only in the bush but also in towns and cities during festivals abroad. Far from being unconnected opportunities for dance, they develop into interactions and involve transnational networks that bring the different parties present into contact: the tourists, won over, who canvass and support the Wodaabe from festival to festival, festivals that operate in networks and the Wodaabe themselves, now organized into an array of associations and NGOs. Furthermore the phenomenon, far from being limited to a simple representation in dance form, proves to be as much an economic issue as a social and political one.
