Summary, etc. When collaborative law was introduced in France it had an immediate impact on the family bar. An ambitious training program has been implemented and is continuing successfully. In addition, practice groups allow the initial training to be deepened through exchanges. Three lawyers of the Paris Bar involved in this movement, Lorraine Bertagna, Anne Karila-Danziger and Coralie Gaffinel, give us concrete information on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and negotiation techniques used in mediation and collaborative law. The obligation of transparency is essential in the search for lasting solutions. Agreements must be built through the sharing of all necessary information, which implies reinforced confidentiality. What is at stake in these new practices changes the behavior of lawyers even when they intervene in cases giving rise to traditional legal proceedings. The actors in these negotiation processes claim to be experiencing a real cultural revolution that is changing the way they practice law by adopting an ethic of discussion and allowing the emergence of agreements of much better quality in comparison with the results obtained in contentious proceedings.
