Summary, etc. How can we consider that the dependency to an institution may be restorative ? It would then enable the reconstruction and maintenance of a social link. In this article, the author demonstrates, with the help of a clinical case, that dependency must sometimes be consented in order for separation from the institution to occur. Arttherapy, as a care device, tries to favour the establishment of a process toward independence : be firstly the subject of a symbolic production for better being one of its own existence.
