| Summary, etc. | Résumé À partir d’une recherche menée sur une institution culturelle singulière, le Rize à Villeurbanne, il s’agit de questionner la manière dont un établissement municipal contribue à apporter une qualification particulière et durable aux mémoires des groupes migrants via le témoignage et la constitution d’archives orales. La question du témoignage est ici abordée en miroir à travers sa construction par l’institution et par le témoin afin de mieux cerner les enjeux et les décalages possibles autour de la mémoire collective et son éventuelle patrimonialisation. |

| Summary, etc. | This research is based on a fieldwork conducted on a particular cultural institution: the Rize in Villeurbanne. We consider the contribution of a municipal institution in providing a permanent and singular qualification to migrant groups’ memories through testimonies and oral archives. The issue of testimony is dealt with through the way the institution builds it, compared with the witnesses’ actual words, so that the stakes and possible discrepancies about collective memory and its possible patrimonialization may be identified. |

| Summary, etc. | Resumen A partir de una investigación hecha sobre una institución particular, el Rize de la ciudad de Villeurbanne, nos preguntamos aquí sobre la forma en que una institución municipal contribuye a dar una caracterización particular y durable a las memorias de grupos de migrantes a través de los testimonios y de la constitución de archivos orales. Los testimonios serán aproximados en una práctica analítica “de espejo” entre la construcción hecha por la institución y aquélla del testigo, para así dar cuenta de los retos y las distancias posiblemente existentes sobre la memoria colectiva y su posible uso patrimonial. |
