| Summary, etc. | Cette note se concentre sur l’évolution de la surmortalité qui constitue l’indicateur le plus robuste, notamment en comparaison internationale, pour observer la dégradation de l’état de santé durant la « première vague » de la pandémie de Covid-19 au printemps dernier. La surmortalité a augmenté plus fortement aux États-Unis qu’en Europe, avec des situations cependant très hétérogènes au sein des pays européens. Sur les huit premiers mois de l’année 2020, on peut estimer à moins de 20 000 le nombre de décès excédentaires en France. |
