Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | During our last National Study Days (2019), we attempted the impossible : saying something about love in relation with hate. The impossible pertains to love more than hate, hence the emphasis put on it here. Not that it would be impossible to talk about love – evidence since Antiquity testifies to the profusion of chatter and we are far from the last word – but, following Lacan, nothing can be said about it that holds firm. In other words, chattering is the order of the day. Does Lacan refer to the common discourse or to psychoanalysis ? It could well be both. |
